::Bus from Lombok to Flores with Dunia Mas - you don't get what you pay for If you think about taking the bus and ferry combination to reach Labuan Bajo make sure the company you book is not DUNIA MAS! We can not say weather other companies are better but our trip was terrible. Everything seams to be very unprofessional. We started at Mataram one hour later than we should because everyone in the bus needs to pick up some packet every few meters along the street. That's why we had to take a later ferry than we should. We started our night-trip through Sumbawa and stopped because of our delay in the middle of the night for dinner!!! The rest of the night was very loud in the bus. The bus stopped often to pick up or drop some people. Every time the lights go one and people are shouting out loud. The bus driver drove like a insane race runner. So no sleep for us. We were supposed to take the AC bus to the ferry harbor but had to change into a overloaded local bus at 5am. At 7am we arrived at Sape harbor. There we were told by some local guys that the ferry doesn't operate since a few days because of the waves. The bus company didn't care and leave us alone without any information although they knew about the fact when we started our trip . We stayed one night at Sape in a bad home stay hope that the ferry maybe operate the next morning. Unfortunately it didn't start so we had to find a way out of this situation by our own. The day before some other lost backpackers got a refund for the ferry ticket from the company. When we decided to switch to a plane we got no refund from the same company and on top of everything they charged us extra for the transport to the airport. Which was just on the bus way back to bima. To sum up this experience it was a completely lost of time and money. We had to skip Flores and missed a flight. Back on Bali there was no chance to get in contact with this company, no office and even no email and for sure no one responsible.
