  I used this boat terminal just to get across. Over the other side are Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman mosque, Pasar Rakyat Kenanga (market) and Istana Kadria (palace). The cost per person depends on the number of passengers. If you are alone, 10-12,000 Rp. If there are 6 people then each has to pay only 2,000 Rp, the lowest price. It takes about 5-7 mins. There is no safety precautions taken into account. Travel at your own risk.

  This is the dock (pelabuhan) you want to go to in order to catch the ferry to Ketapang. I recommend the Bahari Express, it is fast and it is the nicest.
