  Sales service poor. Only one cashier working. 30 minutes in queue. Staff cannot understand English. Poor standards.

  I have been a loyal customer of M and S for a very long time. But since late i have not been shopping at M&S and now i shop at Tomy Hilfiger and Banan Republic due to design and quality. Nevertheless, this tour in Jakarta, i did visit your outlet. Previously I have purchased many items from various countries and have exchanged in various other countries. Yesterday(2nd December 2017) I purchased some items from Central Park mall in Jakarta and due to a size variation i went to the plaza Indonesia and they refused to exchange it. After much deliberation, there was a staff member called Imam and if not for him I wouldn’t have exchanged it. I had to call the store manager and even the store manager was not at all friendly and customer oriented. Thanks to Imam, i managed to exchange it. Again at Grand Indonesia mall i had a another encounter where the bill came to a certain amount and i wanted to pay about 75% in cash and the balance in credit card which was rejected by the cashier saying combination of payment not possible, either card or cash only . I simply wanted to spend the balance cash at the end of my tour and that was my purpose of payment in combination. In a such a competitive market i simply cant understand why M&S is not changing with the trends and be more customer oriented to be in business.

  Good choices for men, women and kids. Sells apparels, accessories and shoes. Seasonal discounts apply. Food items available. No nonsense, brightly lit shop.

  The store getting more and more quiet despite good location. New collections of summer doesn't exactly help to bring more customer. In the foods section I see some promotion, but still not a big jumper to the crowd.
