::Nice museum with great Batavia maritime history..always interesting to see our journey of civilization. Enjoy the good place to make some lovely pics.

::First time I visited this museum was 10 years ago, it was so crowded with the Pasar Ikan & kind of creepy because they lack of artificial light and no AC. But these day, they have improved more, they provide AC, more artificial light & more exhibited things (especially in the history parts). Sadly half of the museum was burnt 😭 and the Pasar Ikan no longer fill the way to the museum which is I think part of the story of the museum. On the way to the Maritime Museum you could also see & visit Menara Syahbandar!! It really worth a try to go up up up to the top of it😃😃😃

::Love this museum. Especially for us, who appreciate the history, including the mysteries behind it all. 🙏

::Worth visiting place. With only IDR 5,000 you can visit this historical place, a National maritime museum. Besides old wooden hulls displayed here, there is a room of diorama about the stories of ancient travelers.

::Today, the condition and collections are better than 10 years ago. No more fishy smell. Centralized air conditioner and free-flow air makes visitors comfortable.
