    J. Co is run by perhaps the worst business people i have ever encountered. I'd suggest not coming here if you enjoy your sanity. I came here March 9th with my girlfriend to have a cup of tea and a doughnut. I'd almost give them another star because the names of the doughnuts were very clever and fun. Sadly, this does not make up for a bizarre experience that involved merely asking for some milk in my tea. I went to the counter with the cup of black tea and asked for some milk. The response was odd: "We don't have milk." But it's a coffee shop. They make milk-based coffee drinks. I return to my table and sip the black tea, but kept wondering about such a weird statement. Why would they have no milk? So I get up and ask again. I ask for susu (milk) and again, a blank stare and she shakes her head. My Indonesian girlfriend then tries to talk to them. I hear a long conversation take place. It turns out, they will refuse to give milk to a customer if it's not on the "official recipe" for the drink. If the ingredient is not exactly on a computerized menu, then they cannot apparently under ANY circumstances alter it. The cashier says "if we were to put even a little bit of milk in his tea, then it would be equivalent to stealing. It must be exactly what's on the menu. We can't put any milk in his tea." So I get up and offer to PAY to put a little milk in my tea. Again "We cannot put any of our milk in your tea or we would break our rules and we'd be stealing from the company." So I'd be willing at this point to pay 10,000 rupees for a tiny bit of milk in my tea. But with the severity of a Catholic school teacher and an intense glare, we are told "no." I set my plate on the counter in front of them, shaking my head at these complete lunatics and go to a normal coffee shop where adding five drops of milk to a cup of tea isn't a horrible bypassing of the rules. Seriously, what a weird company and terrible business people. If a customer asks for something so simple as a bit of milk... GIVE THEM THE MILK - EVEN IF IT COSTS YOU A FRACTION OF A CENT! It's better than getting 1 star reviews online. Idiots!

Took Americano 16oz. Looked like dishwashing water, tasted like nothing, just burning hot. Had to wait 15 minutes until i could try, was that hot. Worst coffee i ever had.

Somehow the place is quite small. It's okay if you just want to have a good conversation with your friends.

Nice staff, cheap coffee with a free donut and a good place to waste some time and watch the world go by.
