  The police officers are kind and helpful. It took approximately about 15 minutes to get my SIM renewed. The long queue on the registration desk, however, can be quite annoying. Overall, the service is satisfactory. We need more places like this in other cities.

  Good service, but as tax payor we deserve more than queueing for 2 hours! Come on, develop online services..

  Busy but efficient and long hours for everyone. Note the plate tax renewal (perpanjangan STNK) dan the license renewal (perpanjangan SIM) is different!

  Visited here (2nd Floor of Gandaria City Mall) to renew my Class A driver's license that is expiring soon. Came at about 9:45am and there is already a crowd in front of the office. Followed the procedure and took about 1.5 hours to get my driver's license on the spot. Renewal of STNK (motor vehicle registration) service is also provided here. Place is generally comfortable to spend some time waiting. As it was still before 10am, most of the stores at the mall are still not opened yet. Parking in the morning is plentiful and it was not that much of a hassle in getting my license renewal. Overall the experience was not as unpleasant as is usually the case when dealing with government agencies. Steps to renew driver's license 1. Get an official application form by showing expiring driver's license. (license that has expired cannot be renewed as there is no grace period) 2. Fill up application form (took me about 5 minutes) 3. Submit filled application form, 2 copies of KTP (ID Card) and the soon to be expired driver's license to the counter to get a queue number. (photocopying service also provided on site for a fee) 4. Wait for queue number to be called through the PA system. 5. Get photograph and fingerprints taken when called. 6. Pay Rp.120,000 for Class A license renewal plus "Voluntary" insurance of Rp.30,000. (Don't think you can decline the insurance since it is issued without your agreement, and the receipt for Rp.120,000 renewal fee is not issued) FYI insurance company is a police cooperative if I am not wrong. 7. You get your renewed license & insurance receipt instantly after payment. Total Cost Rp.150,000 plus parking Total time spent is about 1 Hour 30 Minutes Your mileage may vary............
