::Really nice cementary, well maintained. Don't forget to read a bit about the history on the dutch-indo war before you come, else you will not understand what certain things mean. Despite the big buildings in the neighbourhood, this place is really serene.

::Really interesting place in the middle of Jakarta. It is really well looked after. It's a big change of pace from the chaos that surrounds it.

::A cemetery isn't quite a normal destination, but this is an interesting one 😁. Very well maintained and we had a wonderful guide who told us about the history of the place. The chapel and pond area are quite scenic. It's very peaceful that you'll forget you're in a cemetery. Be mindful when taking pictures, though. Make sure no names are restored in your camera, to respect the family members of the lost ones.

::Came here while is was just about the rain. The keeper brought me an umbrella so I can stay dry while walking around, that's very thoughtful. I have to say this place is extremely well maintained. Some might find it strange to visit a cemetery as a tourist destination but I can see how many find it calming to come here. The place is beautiful and it pays tribute to the many who fought for peace. Being here is just so enlightening.

::This is known as Dutch Cemetery but it has a full section devoted to Indian Soldiers who laid down their lives during WW-II 1939 - 1945. The memorial Pillar mentions "Indian Forces" in the centre and India & Pakistan etched on either side.
